The differences of Pati and Salatiga in languages
In this note I shared my experience about different terms of language which I underwent, and this writing was made because the writer was confused of spending his time, too much spare time he had so he wrote this so that he resembled a busy man. No resistance and humiliating here. If there is the similarity of character, time, and place those are absolutely deliberated. The writer also needs your good suggestions and developing criticisms.
The comparison between Pati and Salatiga in language.
For we know that language is a tool to deliver what’s on our mind, many kinds of languages in the world such as English, Arabic, Indonesian, Spanish, Japanese, etc. and for our country that’s a must Indonesian is our language. As we know that Indonesia is an archipelagos country which consists of many islands and each island has their certain cultures, languages, and traditions. And here I will talk about language in Java or maybe it tends to Javanese.
Actually I’m still confused about Javanese there are many kinds of differences in Javanese dealing with level of words, letters, and different terms of language in certain places of Java. In addition, I’m resident of Pati which is famous for its agriculture and has certain terms of words that sometimes those are different from the town’s term that I have ever gone Salatiga as an example, and here is my experience.
At the first time I came to Salatiga, I thought that the place was really great, so cold it’s like there was a giant Air Conditioner put on the sky. The fact that the place is really cold, it’s because two mountains surrounding Salatiga those are Telomoyo and Merbabu. Okay talking about language in Salatiga I have a little story
One day my friends and I were cleaning the Islamic Dorm where I lived, at that time I was surprised by one of my friends saying “awas jarang panas, jarang panas” while bringing hard rock on his hands I turned my head back and asked to someone softly  “Jarang panas ki opo”?then they laughed at me. Is there anything wrong? They kept laughing while my face was getting blushed, after a while there was one of my friends was pity of me and explained that “Jarang” was warm water, Owh,,,, immediately I knew the reason why they laughed at me.
That is only one of many stories that I’ve ever undergone when I was in Salatiga. Actually there is something that makes me little confused. As long as I know from explanation of friends of mine “Jarang” is warm water but why did they say “Jarang panas”? if the definition of “Jarang” itself is warm water and then there is a word “Panas” in the back of “Jarang” so the definition will be warm warm water, isn’t it.?
Here are some different words, terms, and definition based on self experience.
